Terrorist Bloopers & Outtakes (video)
How do I miss something this viral? It’s called Terrorists Bloopers, and it’s a low-budget parody of the “Girls Gone Wild” advertisements. A funny spoof on cheesy commercials and terrorism. And the ending is worth waiting for. Here’s some fun trivia about it: It was created by a Brooklyn NYC comedy troupe named Poykpac. Here’s another…
“Screw With ZeFrank” Contest
A few of us have decided to do a “Screw with ZeFrank” contest. ZeFrank, as readers perhaps have noticed, doesn’t react to much in the blogosphere. He scans comments on his blog, and reads news headlines. He reads academic books. But he’s kinda a web introvert. Like Johnny Carson- big “on stage” presence but kept…
YouTube Celebrities are “Hot Properties”
Just what some of the popular personalities on YouTube needed. The NYTimes is calling them “hot properties,” and providing examples of some YouTube “weblebrities” getting courted by other sites. Indeed there’s been at least one example of this with Smosh, a creator who was paid to move from YouTube (where he still posts) to LiveVideo….
Apple MacBook Air is Obsessed With Thin
Last night I got an e-mail from Mac that showcased the new Apple MacBook Air. The product is interesting and the spot was simple with a contagious song called New Soul by Yael Naim. Although I was already well into my nightly Ambien, I felt I couldn’t pass on a quick parody. About 19 minutes…
Great Trivia on American Presidents
A classic video from ZackScott that gives us information about the American Presidents that you wouldn’t have learned in history class. Zack is one of my favorite online comedians. Watch for the subtle gestures and timing between facts. Is this hysterical, or is it just the Haldol in my meds? I need to stop buying from Nigerian pharmacies.
I Auditioned a New Family
I’m really getting excited about online-video “serialized storytelling,” but still experimenting with the content and delivery mechanism. By this I mean fewer one-hit wonders like Blackberry Crackberry, and more narratives in 1-3 minute “chunks.” The goal is to keep people in suspense and coming back. Of course it doesn’t happen easily unless you have loyal…

Okay, NOW do I have a shot in hell of getting one of my comments into the I videos???? (Must think of something good. . . .)
I spotted it first 😛
haven’t been watching, but now i’m intrigued… lots of good elements: viewer participation, good writing, shot well, acted well and they seem to be evolving.
i tried to sit through episode 1 and couldn’t deal – too long, shots were drawn out, etc. I skipped all the way to episode 15 and kinda get it.
The Nalts brigade is now taking over ichannel’s comments. Few people are actually posting responses to i, relative to the people talking about Nalts. 🙂 I tried to do a bit of both.
Who? Wha? Man, I’m so far out of the loop I feel like I’ve left the country without my passport.
I know somebody who lost her passport while out of the country. I wouldn’t recommend it.
Mike’s right about the comments 🙂
I KNEW the voice sounded formilar on the phone message!! tricky nalts…tricky
Marquis – just click on the “it is i” link in Nalts’ post above and all will become clear.
Wow! Can I get you to do a cameo in our show?
By the way, Nalts Fans, May 12th is Nalts’ birthday.
If I had the wherewithall, I’d set up one of those fancy video response thingies on Revver and YouTube and have people sing Happy Birthday to him.
Instead, I’ll just put a candle in a bag of Fat-free Doritos with Olean and watch it burn…
I like butter
Your mom likes butter
found you through youtube…funneh.
oh, I like this!
Is this “I like butter” comment going to be another one of those things I need nutcheese to explain to me on stickam? I am so old . . . .
