How to Become a Web Legend (aka pseudo-faux celebrity)
WSJ writer Lee Gomes talked to some of the web legends about how to become famous. Here’s his article, which includes quotes from Numa Numa, EepyBird, Chocolate Rain. If you can think of an online cliche, a one-hit wonder, a 16th minute of fame…. then he interviewed ’em. “To be sure, being the latest, greatest…

Nalts hater video
Yes, Jenna. There is a YouTube.
Jenna from YouTube asks the questions (in the comments from a recent post). The humble viral video genius gives the answers… Hey Nalts, I have some questions about the history of video blogging and the history of Nalts (you). Did the guys who made YouTube intend for it to be used as a video blogging…
GooTube Conspiracy Needs Script Blueprint
We’ve issued a press release on the GooTube Conspiracy, and the “participative storytelling” has taken some interesting directions even since we wrote the release. Here’s the creative challenge. The various plot branches are missing a trunk, as one of the videographers mentioned last night. Some of the characters — who submitted videos unsolicited — are asking…
Someone Writes About Something Beside Google & YouTube
Can you believe this guy? He’s writing an article about 10 newsworthy events that aren’t related to Google/YouTube. Is it just me or does Steve look like Brad Pitt?
Pandering for World Domination
Academy Award Winning Viral Creator, Davideo Designs, today released its latest creation called “Pandering for World Domination.” Davideo actually hasn’t won an Academy Award because the stuffy academy is still to friggin’ artistic for viral shorts. Okay, NOW do I have a shot in hell of getting one of my comments into the I videos???? (Must think of something good. . . .)
I spotted it first 😛
haven’t been watching, but now i’m intrigued… lots of good elements: viewer participation, good writing, shot well, acted well and they seem to be evolving.
i tried to sit through episode 1 and couldn’t deal – too long, shots were drawn out, etc. I skipped all the way to episode 15 and kinda get it.
The Nalts brigade is now taking over ichannel’s comments. Few people are actually posting responses to i, relative to the people talking about Nalts. 🙂 I tried to do a bit of both.
Who? Wha? Man, I’m so far out of the loop I feel like I’ve left the country without my passport.
I know somebody who lost her passport while out of the country. I wouldn’t recommend it.
Mike’s right about the comments 🙂
I KNEW the voice sounded formilar on the phone message!! tricky nalts…tricky
Marquis – just click on the “it is i” link in Nalts’ post above and all will become clear.
Wow! Can I get you to do a cameo in our show?
By the way, Nalts Fans, May 12th is Nalts’ birthday.
If I had the wherewithall, I’d set up one of those fancy video response thingies on Revver and YouTube and have people sing Happy Birthday to him.
Instead, I’ll just put a candle in a bag of Fat-free Doritos with Olean and watch it burn…

Is this “I like butter” comment going to be another one of those things I need nutcheese to explain to me on stickam? I am so old . . . .
