Top 10 Online-Video Predictions for 2007
I pulled out my crystal ball this morning, and I’m predicting the most significant online-video highlights of 2007. I’ll be citing these selectively at the end of 2007 (only those in which I was right). Okay I didn’t use a crystal ball. This video tells a better story about the process I used to arrive…
If This is the Ad, Don’t Let the Show Return (Intel Chase Scene)
Here’s a top “viral” video that is indeed viral, and indeed an ad (2nd Generation Intel® Core™ i5 processor). While it hasn’t met the strict definition I use (4 million within 24-48 characteristic of that Golden Voice homeless man), the Intel “Chase Scene” is past 813,000 views, and I believe it will continue to grow….
Bill Gates Raw!
It’s not every day that I have a chance to videotape a zillionaire without him knowing. Here’s “Bill Gates Raw!” The idea was to see how many subtle Mac or Linux comments we could make before driving the Microsoft founder off the deep end.
Cubicle Kim Debuts in “CubeNews”
Cubicle Kim contacted CubeBreak to see if we’d be interested in featuring her collection. After watching just two videos, we gave her a dedicated widget on the homepage. Funny stuff — here’s her website. A Pennsylvania native, Kim Waldauer moved to LA 6 years ago to be an actor/writer with her husband, who is also…
Dove Beauty Video (Parody)
You’ve all seen the Dove viral video that shows a homely girl being transformed into a model. Now watch the spoof video, as Nalts gets transformed from a balding, fat video guy into vlogger celebrity, ZeFrank. I did ask ZeFrank if he’d humor me with a high resolution version of his face to do this….
Off the Ladder. Into the Street. But…
In this amazing Davideo clip, we see him narrowly avert getting run over by a car. It’s one of Davideo’s three entries to the Lucozade Energy “Lost Your Edge” contest. You’ll need to register to vote, but it’s instant (no e-mail confirmation). Another good reason for a brand to not host its own contest site….

Okay, NOW do I have a shot in hell of getting one of my comments into the I videos???? (Must think of something good. . . .)
I spotted it first 😛
haven’t been watching, but now i’m intrigued… lots of good elements: viewer participation, good writing, shot well, acted well and they seem to be evolving.
i tried to sit through episode 1 and couldn’t deal – too long, shots were drawn out, etc. I skipped all the way to episode 15 and kinda get it.
The Nalts brigade is now taking over ichannel’s comments. Few people are actually posting responses to i, relative to the people talking about Nalts. 🙂 I tried to do a bit of both.
Who? Wha? Man, I’m so far out of the loop I feel like I’ve left the country without my passport.
I know somebody who lost her passport while out of the country. I wouldn’t recommend it.
Mike’s right about the comments 🙂
I KNEW the voice sounded formilar on the phone message!! tricky nalts…tricky
Marquis – just click on the “it is i” link in Nalts’ post above and all will become clear.
Wow! Can I get you to do a cameo in our show?
By the way, Nalts Fans, May 12th is Nalts’ birthday.
If I had the wherewithall, I’d set up one of those fancy video response thingies on Revver and YouTube and have people sing Happy Birthday to him.
Instead, I’ll just put a candle in a bag of Fat-free Doritos with Olean and watch it burn…
I like butter
Your mom likes butter
found you through youtube…funneh.
oh, I like this!
Is this “I like butter” comment going to be another one of those things I need nutcheese to explain to me on stickam? I am so old . . . .
