Can a Word Cloud Change Your Mood?
I took a collection of positive/negative words from “Power Versus Force” (David Hawkins, M.D., Ph.D), added some of my own, and created a word cloud of them using Wordle.
I’d like to think I can explain Hawkin’s research on how certain words are tested/validated to calibrate on a 0-1000 “consciousness” scale, but I can’t. Most of the words in the first “cloud” are terms that calibrate at 500 plus. The second “cloud” is made of words that calibrate at 200 or lower. I’ve added a few of my own words to sauce it up. For instance, I believe “just do it” is about “force” and “stillness” is about real “power.” It’s the difference between inspiration and motivation.
Oh shut the hell up. I’m not smoking pot and wearing crystals. You’re just deflecting. Damnit.
Now where were we? Theoretically you could just stare at this first word cloud and begin vibrating at a higher frequency…
- If you buy that notion completely, you may also be interested in buying a blue dot.
- If you’re willing to entertain that concept, you just may just be enlightened. I’ll get back to you on that in our next life.
- If you reject it, you can dwell on the second cloud and drain yourself. While you’re at it, you should have the courage to share that black & white one with some of your enemies. It’d be a shame if they didn’t get it as a form of vengeance.
Quit it with the fucking deflecting shit. Life is not a bowl of cherries. Its a bowl of cherry pits covered with gobs of saliva.
Hi Kevin. I read this post earlier (love starting the day off with a little of your humor) but came back to leave a message. I’m working on writing some motivational content and found myself thinking of this post and then changing a few words in my article to summon a more positive response. Then I began to question whether my intent is to motivate or inspire the reader? Motivation comes from within so I realized that I am attempting to inspire. Anyway, I love the word cloud concept and it’s kind affected the way I’m working this morning (I think I might be vibrating a little). Thanks for enlightening. Off to see if that book is available at the library. Have a good one.
