As promised, here’s the edited version of the dramatic drive to the hospital yesterday from my anaphylactic fit. Here’s the background post for some context.

Looks like they didn’t yank all of the videos of Amy Winehouse performing intoxicated in Belgrade… It’s not as tragic as Weird Al doing Lady Gaga, nor as entertaining as the break-dancing gorilla.
Ladies in gentleman, in this seminal post, I shall speak to you not as a video entertainer but as a student of psychology, a practicioner of marketing, and a former magician (age 10). Watch in awe as I explain why our human species has trouble predicting the future, why some of my online-video foresight has…
We YouTube Partners require two things to make money: a large number of views, and advertisers. Thanks to Kalle Tompros of SearchEngineWatch for summarizing the options available to advertisers. These include promoted videos (which requires advertisers to have videos on YouTube), homepage takeovers, instream ads (prerolls), and text overlays. For more options, see YouTube’s how-to…
It’s not often you see a real celebrity in an online-video series. But today’s BarelyPolitical features one. You’ll have to look carefully, though. Hint: he’s in a red hat, and the only one to spot him so far is stalkerofnalts. I got some great footage of Mark (TheKeyOfAwesome) Douglas losing his shit and dropping the…
Time Magazine provided a rather exhaustive review of YouTube’s past, present and future. Check out the full article, titled “The Beast With a Billion Eyes” (a title, no doubt, with Shakespearean roots). Some highlights: This is the first ever coverage of YouTube that failed to mention Shaycarl or Olgakay. The piece cites the age-old quote…
Now you can edit a video that’s already on YouTube. See the YouTube BlogĀ for more information, and the brief video below… Of course I tried editing videos I’ve posted, and did find the option to “edit video” in my video library. But the icon seen in the image to right (orange) didn’t show up… on…

Am I glad I keep my EpiPen at home!
Maybe I should go find it…….
I wanted to take my camera into the hospital when my girlfriend recently had surgery. I didn’t want to chance them manhandling my camera though. Glad all is well. Cheers.
The trick is the lil’ “Pure Digital Point and Shoot.” They’re subtle and you can hide them in a syrofoam cup.
You’re a little bit crazy. I like that. Great choice of soundtrack; suspenseful, urgent, seismic, heartbeat-like. Perfect.
Kevin, you are one crazy mofo! Your wife is a really good sport.
My wife is always bugging me that she has three kids she has to take care of…me and my two boys. Yours has 5!!!
I agree with MDJ, really good music!
You know what would really be sick, when you do kick the bucket and, of course, you will have figured out a way to film that special moment, to have one of your kids upload it to Revver.
But hopefully that will be after many years of videos of Nalts turning 40, Nalts first 40 year old doctor visit (you know what I’m talking about, I’m dreading it too) , turning 50, Nalts kids graduate from college, 60, Nalts has a grandchild, Nalts turns 70, Nalts has alzheimers watches his own videos and wonders who was the genius who filmed them, Nalts gets cured of alzheimers, Nalts turns 80, videos of Nalts at the Rest Home filming old people falling, Nalts gets all the other Rest Home patients to be in his new film, a remake of Cocoon. Nalts turns 90 and films first holographic video of his birthday, Nalts turns 100, kicks the bucket finally, gets kicked out of Heaven for filming an Angel playing frisbee with his halo.
I’m planning early alzheimers. You’ll know it’s kicked in when you see the same 100 videos being uploaded each morning.
Uh oh. My favorite sister found the video she told me not to post because it would have my future employer consider my insanity a pre-existing condition.
Truly frightening, and gripping. We too are glad yous is aight. It’s like a train wreck you’re thinking “put the f(*&#n camera down dude’ and concentrate on living, but then again you ARE capturing life so intensely (and oddly not so seriously during serious moments). I can’t imagine what would happen if they gave you your own network series. I smell mega-reality hit.
