Video Marketing for Dummies

My publisher, Wiley, just published “Video Marketing for Dummies.” It’s more aimed at small companies and focuses not just on marketing but production.

Well we’re clearly in the bubble burst of online-video sites. Stage6 shut down, and Revver was sold. Who’s next?
You go, Nancy Grace. Don’t hold back. Your rage makes killer TV. Here’s a clip from “The Insider,” wear Nancy Grace tears John Gosselin (John and Kate Plus Eight) a new hole. For years you had your children on reality TV. Suddenly you want it all to come to an end. Oh you have your…
Woah. How’d it get to be January 3? I haven’t done my 2010 predictions for online video, and I’ve got a crap load of writing to do before my first draft manuscript is due for “Beyond Viral Video.” Well here’s JibJab’s 2009 best-of musical animated video parody thingy, and JibJab’s blog posts some “behind the…
YouTube went to great lengths to ask (and even threaten video creators with reminders of their contractual obligations) to prevent stars doing sponsored videos. As I’ve addressed before, some advertisers were circumventing lucrative media spends by working directly with top stars. That’s especially smarmy when the Google folks pitched the star, and the agency or…

I’ll bet unicorns don’t smell nice.
This book is for Dummies. Says so right in the title.
I’m a big fan of Nalts and also a purchaser of his book last year. I also had the opportunity to work with the four co-authors of “Video Marketing for Dummies” on the production of their book. Not only are they quite complementary, but good reads. I’d add these two, plus Steve Garfield’s and Greg Jarboe’s to the video marketer’s book shelf. If you’d like a video overview of the book with a customer example, you can find it at http://www.pixability.com/pixabilitytv#pixtv20.

What kind of marketing / production does it offer?
