My publisher, Wiley, just published “Video Marketing for Dummies.” It’s more aimed at small companies and focuses not just on marketing but production.

The Video on the Net conference is taking place March 19-22 in San Jose, California. Decent group of presenters. Looks like fun. Who wants to blog live from the event? Here’s the schedule. I’m including it because it has speakers names with hyperlinks to them. Reader convenience or SEO manipulation? You decide. 8:00am 5:00pm Registration…
Here are 34 posts, websites and videos about online video… curated kindly by Christopher Mingryan. Can someone summarize them in the comments below please? I’m too lazy to read.
It’s topping YouTube’s trending videos… Finally proof that, just like cows standing when we’re not watching, cats bark… in this rare and exclusive footage, a cat is caught barking… but then cleverly reverts to meowing as if nobody caught it. Well you’re busted, Mr. Whiskers. And you can tell your feline friends we’re onto them….
I’ve sent a fair number of my online videos to networks but rarely ever see them air. Fortunately someone caught this BBC report about Blackberry Addiction, and tossed it on YouTube. It includes random clips from my Crackberry Blackberry. It’s really funny to see my stupid parody contrasted with English commentary about how Blackberrys impair…
Lucasfilms, according to Variety, is getting out of the movie business. “We don’t want to make movies. We’re about to get into television. I think the secret to the future in quantity,” said Lucas. Well knock me over with a feather. Read the article at Variety.com. Thanks to Neil for sending it. I thought it…

May I please send it to you so you can determine that?
hmmm i wonder if you would get sued if you changed the title of your book…. *wipes smarmite on this comment*
Omg I can’t believe you used the word ‘smarmiest’. I love a man with a big vocabulary.
I think that guy needs some advice from page 356. Bad editing. That video is waaaaay too long.
I bet your farts smell like rainbows and unicorns. Xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo.
I’ll bet unicorns don’t smell nice.
This book is for Dummies. Says so right in the title.
I’m a big fan of Nalts and also a purchaser of his book last year. I also had the opportunity to work with the four co-authors of “Video Marketing for Dummies” on the production of their book. Not only are they quite complementary, but good reads. I’d add these two, plus Steve Garfield’s and Greg Jarboe’s to the video marketer’s book shelf. If you’d like a video overview of the book with a customer example, you can find it at http://www.pixability.com/pixabilitytv#pixtv20.
