Video Marketing for Dummies
My publisher, Wiley, just published “Video Marketing for Dummies.” It’s more aimed at small companies and focuses not just on marketing but production.

The Smart Show is a new pilot that will feature a 2-month road trip by Henry Dittman plus an amateur host that will be selected via online-video entries. The duo will tour America at the hospitality of sponsor Holiday Inn Express, and explore odd and interesting things in various cities. I’ve been debating my wife…
One of the nice things about having your ugly mug (and ass crack) all over the Internet is that old friends can find you easily. Check out this IM exchange between my first boss in Philadelphia and his brother (click more). They’re looking for me and start finding some of my videos.
Oh wait. I don’t make money on either. So what explains my recent neglect of WillVideoForFood and obsession with Twitter? Maybe because it forces me to be terse.
The 9, a daily show available on Yahoo TV, identifies interesting sites or videos. Worth a look. The videos are a bit closer to “Entertainment Tonight” humor than “Jon Stewart,” but it’s still worth a glance. Maria Sansone, the host, is eye candy… but the commentary isn’t as biting as WebJunk‘s host, Patrice O’Neal (he…
There’s no shortage of blogs written for and by mothers. But WifeofNalts now has a new YouTube channel called “Joeymoms.” The purpose is to bring relevant content to moms in a fun, irreverent way in a delivery medium for which moms have time… video. The name was chosen for two reasons. First, there are virtually…
Canadian publication “Globe and Mail” did a story about viral video: cashing in or cashing out. May I please send it to you so you can determine that?
hmmm i wonder if you would get sued if you changed the title of your book…. *wipes smarmite on this comment*
Omg I can’t believe you used the word ‘smarmiest’. I love a man with a big vocabulary.
I think that guy needs some advice from page 356. Bad editing. That video is waaaaay too long.
I bet your farts smell like rainbows and unicorns. Xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo.
I’ll bet unicorns don’t smell nice.
This book is for Dummies. Says so right in the title.
I’m a big fan of Nalts and also a purchaser of his book last year. I also had the opportunity to work with the four co-authors of “Video Marketing for Dummies” on the production of their book. Not only are they quite complementary, but good reads. I’d add these two, plus Steve Garfield’s and Greg Jarboe’s to the video marketer’s book shelf. If you’d like a video overview of the book with a customer example, you can find it at http://www.pixability.com/pixabilitytv#pixtv20.

What kind of marketing / production does it offer?
