Google Blinks, and Blinkx Tops Video Content
Video Search engine blinkx.tv has surpassed Yahoo and Google, reaching 4,000,000 hours of searchable video content to become the web's largest video search engine. Spidering free content from the web, blinkx partners with content publishers in order to access repositories and archives that cover the broadest spectrum of interest. blinkx's over 80 content partners include YouTube, Revver, MTV Networks and the New York Times.
The cool thing about blinkx.tv is that it uses speech recognition to turn audio into searchable text. It gets 3.5 million video search queries a day. blinkx is a privately-held company based in San Francisco and London.
So what happened with it’s deal with Revver? Wasn’t it supposed to host Revver videos?
Yes- it’s still announcing Revver as one of its 80 content providers, but I can’t find my stuff. I’ll post on the Revver forum about it.
Revver’s on its way … we’re waiting for a way to play revverized videos but in the flash player that we use on the site. Keep posted!

Thanks for the rapid response. It would be great to have a way to view Revver videos sans Flash. I think Quicktime’s limited installed base is a potential rate limiter for Revver.
I know this is old, but Revver videos seem to be playable at blinkx. Also, searching blinkx for Nalts returns quite a few videos.
