Bid on HappySlip’s Stapler and Headshot On eBay
It’s the biggest eBay item since the Grilled Cheese Virgin Mary. Bigger than Britney Spear’s hair being auctioned! The stapler I recently swiped from HappySlip’s apartment (see video) is now on eBay. Click here to bid on the stapler and autographed picture on eBay. As you’ll see from this new video, my son reluctantly gave…
Why Old Spice Is Killing Social Media in 2011
Okay first check out this top-10 list of social-media marketing fails and wins. I just happened to find the Canadian article titled “Top 10 social media hits and misse in 2010,” and my own video hiding in it. Can you find it? Yeah that’s me as the press secretary for Tony Hayward. The accent is fake….
Nice Note from Yahoo! Video Team About the Missing “Lay Me Off” Video
Not a lot of the online video sites pay much attention to the blogosphere (yes I’m talking about YouTube especially) so it’s nice to get a note like the one below. The backdrop is that I produced a video called “Lay Me Off” (aka “Fireable Offense”) that features myself trying to get laid off. Folks…
Ouch. The Fine Line Between “Storytelling” and Inauthenticity
Online-video has rules, and I’ve broken one. And I don’t care. A while back two YouTubers (myself and CharlesTrippy) did a fake feud on YouTube that created something of a backlash. So in this recent video discussing amateur versus pro content, I mentioned Maria Sanson. “Maria Sanson… she could read the yellow pages and it would amuse us.” Showing that someone has either read “How to Get Popular on YouTube Without Any Talent” or is a quick learner, Sanson replies almost immediately with this piece. Stay…

“Viral videos are on their way out. You’re the Chia Pet of 2007.” That’s from an e-mail sent last night from my sister, who produces for a major television network on the west coast. On the YouTube post I’ve got some guy berating me about how irresponsible to video tape and drive. Um- I was destroying federal currency, lighting a fire in a moving auto, and berating the very channel that I was using to berate it. And DRIVING while videotaping was the irresponsible thing?
I shouldn’t have named it YouTube Rant. There are about a million videos with that same name…

Dude, you need some audio books to listen to. Even after a 45 minute commute to work (each way, each day), I STILL don’t get that loopy. Maybe your exhaust is leaking into the cabin?
But the point is valid. Don’t they always say “buy low, sell high.” I think he’s high for not selling.
