The Secret to Happiness (3-minute video)
Free 3-minute video that’s guaranteed (or your money back) to bring you to deep inner happiness. It’s all based on music therapy, and it’s been proven in clinical trials by the 11 people that have watched this on Revver. I can’t post it to YouTube because the Partners are on strike. And ChristopherMast is leaving…
2011 Prediction 6-9 Trillion Display Ads Seen by 45 People
comScore today announced that in the third quarter of this year (3Q 2010) about 1.3 trillion Internet display advertisements were served to people in the U.S. (a 22% growth from the same period in 2009). We were too lazy to register to download the report, but not so lazy as to avoid making “wild, unfounded…
YouTube Statistics for 2012
Time Magazine provided a rather exhaustive review of YouTube’s past, present and future. Check out the full article, titled “The Beast With a Billion Eyes” (a title, no doubt, with Shakespearean roots). Some highlights: This is the first ever coverage of YouTube that failed to mention Shaycarl or Olgakay. The piece cites the age-old quote…
FailBlog: Doritos for the Brain
My friend used to call MTV “Doritos for the brain.” It won’t help you nutritiously, but it makes your brain happy in moderate doses. And that phrase is a wonderful way to think of the “fail” movement. I’ll now introduce you to (or perhaps remind you of) 2009’s “Doritos for the Brain”: FailBlog.org. The term “Fail”…
I’m Going to Blog World San Fran Because… Chris Brogan Said I Am.
So a week or so ago I sent Chris Brogan a note. Asked him if he could get me a free pass to Blog World San Fran Los Vegas (thanks CB and SG), and offered to fill a last-minute speaking slot, be on a panel, or hand out drinks. I can’t let Steve Garfield get…
Dumbest Lawyer in Healthcare Marketing
Take a bold YouTube homepage-takeover advertisement like today’s “Flu Has Cooties” campaign then toss in this ridiculous disclaimer: “MedImmune has no control over the video content on the YouTube homepage.” What do you get? Shit. Without that insulting disclaimer, I might have sailed right onto the Flumist page, learned about a flu vaccine that comes…

Man. I’m a Mac user and I found that rather offensive. Geez. Leave Bill alone with the Apple/Linux vs Microsoft. It’s old and tired already.
You could have done so much more with this opportunity. How about maybe asking him about his foundation and how he’s looking to help children around the world.
Pretty sad state of affairs when you use a kid to say “I like Linux” to Bill Gates.
Sue him? SUE him? Bill Gates could have him eaten…with wasabe.
But Nalts is not afraid.
I’m not entirely stupid. I had my 4-year-old grab his wallet before he left. Helloooooo amazon.com.
Bill Gates impersonators are a dime a dozen. Only Elvis has more. This guy could maybe pass for a 30ish Bill Gates, but he’s definitely not the almost 50ish version we see today. Nice try, nonetheless.
Do you honestly think I have budget for a real Bill Gates impersonator? This guy just happened to look like him and he obliged to this video. Interestingly enough, he’s in the software business and visits Microsoft. They often think he’s an impersonator.
I didn’t realize how young he looked relative to Gates until I found some recent photo of the Microsoft founder. Maybe I should have put some makeup on this guy.
