So we’re visiting the shore yesterday. And I used to refer to the Jersey Shore as the beach covered with needles, based on a news story from years ago. But yesterday I couldn’t help mistake many girls at Point Pleasant, NJ, as “Snookie.” In fact I kept half-jokingly telling my wife I spotted Snookie, when…
Maybe 8 years ago I stumbled onto a website where there was a cartoon contest. Even better, it was managed by the voice behind Jibjab cartoons. There was some heavy competition but I believe I once won “runner’s up.” Jim Meskimen is back with his celebrated cartoon contests, and now on YouTube (that online-video sharing…
He assaults the Jack in the Box drive-thru in the style of a Jewish mother. And he acknowledged me on Twitter, so you can suck it.
… you know you’ve been written up on HappySlip. I had assumed everyone knows who she is, but I’m finding out otherwise. Get over to HappySlip’s blog right now. Her blog is People Magazine to my East Baltimore Guide. Who did your logo, HappySlip!? It’s splendid.

The impact of this video was a bit larger than I expected. But it does prove the power of video. And with the explosion of YouTube and Google Video, power has the weight of the word of God.
I watched the video when it first came out (I’ve been following Snakes On a Blog for months now) and loved it. I showed it to my wife and she loved it so much she had to watch it a third time the next day. Quite odd for someone who doesn’t much care for funny videos.
After watching the video response, it makes me wonder how other percieved the video. I saw it as a guy falling asleep at work and getting caught. Others saw it as a hard working guy pushing himself so hard he fell asleep at his 3rd job while trying to support his dying wife and 8 kids in a single room apartment in the ghetto.
Stay tuned for the video I shot of the the dancing Bimbo salesman. Yes, Bibmos can be bought at your local Wal-Mart. I have the video to prove it.
Wonder what people will think of my video.
