YouTube’s Fred Goes to Big Screen
Pete Cashmore reports on Mashable that there’s a Fred film in the works. Tubefilter reported that a casting call has taken place for Bertha, Judy and Kevin.
Unfortunately, it doesn’t appear Fred’s dad will make the first film, but I’ll sit tight for a sequel.
wow, over 1 million views!
party at Kevin’s house with open bar!
I’m saving my multiplex money for the EepyBird movie.
“That’s not gonna be good for business…”
“That’s not gonna be good for anyone.”
Oh boy! Yet another piece of crap that I can avoid seeing. As a matter of fact I think I will the mall so I don’t have to trip over the Fredites. @3 yep that IS going to be bad for business.
Do you remember that movie “Drop Dead Fred”? It made me giggle.
I think this may be a mistake for Fred. Quite often changing the medium destroys what made the content “special”.
(Besides, I’m not sure Fred fans have the attention span to sit through an entire movie. Well, maybe they do, but I know I’d go crazy after more than a couple minutes of listening to Fred’s sped up voice.)
I get the sense that this is going to be a lot like ‘The Monkees’ movie ‘Head’. Not a whole lot of point.
I need subtitles.
I definitely think I’d be perfect for the role as the bully who constantly beats Fred up. yes, I can see it now!
wait, the director of this movie’s name is “Clay Weiner”??
Are you kidding me? Is this a joke?? Clay Weiner!?? And who’s the producer? Play-doh Cooter? Oh my god. This is the worst project of all time.
@10

A Fred film…OH SHIT!
This is the worst news I’ve heard all month.
