Guggenheim Museum & YouTube Invite Submissions
Check out this invitation video, and submit your creative YouTube video by the end of July… 20-25 winners will have their artistic video played at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum (it’s a collaboration between YouTube and Guggenheim).
Here’s the teaser video, which gives us a zooming look at the play button in various mediums. It rawks.
That should be a YouTube: “Now in Your Living Room” commercial.
Wow, I’ve never heard of such vague criteria for a video contest. I bet they’ll get mostly random junk from hipsters who think they are “original” and “innovative”.
I’ll send them “Inhuman Redneck Screams of The Long Sody Wahder Night” and see what happens.
It’d be really funny if someone uploaded literally 10 minutes of air humping.
yummy

I’ll do it, Peter!
I may actually do it. With like the hyperspace pattern behind it and a play button visible somewhere.
someone needs to teach me how to make my own website now!!!!!!!!!!!
I tried entering a video into the contest, but the online entry form wouldn’t let me get past the “I agree with the terms and conditions” step. It just kept displaying the terms and conditions, but didn’t provide a way to move past that step. Hopefully they’ll fix this problem soon. I suppose this could be a browser specific issue, but it’s not like Firefox is some kind of obscure browser!
