Bridal Dog Wins Costume Contest at Readers Digest
Isn’t it true that the hard videos are never as popular as the easy ones. This video of Rusty and Triscuit (pets of babysitter of nalts) was viewed nearly 700,000 times on Yahoo Video. But my more recent video, “Confessions” was far more complicated, and has been seen 25K views.
Well congratulations, sweet Rusty. You won the Readers’s Choice Award on Reader’s Digest.com!
And here’s your celebration video. Which was shot when Zipster decided to send Locomama to babysit our kids.
So that wraps up my 3-part series for Reader’s Digest. Thanks, RD! Do you suppose this will increase the odds that they accept one of my jokes or stories? I’ve been trying for more than 2 decades. 🙂
My videos are hard.
Every one of my videos is a masterpiece, hand crafted to reflect upon one particular iota of societal truth, a small but tasteful glimpse of the human condition.
All that, and I’m lucky to hit 500 views. Showoff.
I don’t think Reader’s Digest actually accepts unsolicited jokes, despite their eternal claims that they do. I think they mash up all the stories they get, and rewrite them using made up names. They’re also in on the illuminati conspiracy that runs the government.
Somebody’s actually RUNNING our government?
Say what you want about the Maoist propaganda machine. They’re right, though: you should spit the phlegm out.
By the way, when is this recession thingee s’posed ta start? We ain’t got ours yet down here in the piney woods.
^ Their saving it just in time for Christmas.
