I just saw this one too. Very impressive animation. He (the creator)said he uses Maya for the animation. I’m going to have to look it up.
You can download a free 30-day trial version of Maya, AquaD. I did. It looked like rocket science to me and the tutorial ate up a huge amount of harddrive space. I decided to retain my amatuer status a while longer.
