Park Your Own Subdomain Free at OfNalts.com (who needs TinyURL?)
I don’t recall if I’ve ever announced that you can park your own free subdomain (username) at ofnalts.com, which you can “point” at any website or URL. It makes that complex YouTube video URL (or other long URLs) short, simple, memorable and pretty. I use it in lieu of TinyURL because I can link to…
Sarah Palin to Provide “Cringer” Quotes during Vice President Debate. Video Parodies Begin to Stew.
Well it’s time to ready the cameras for the inevitable parade of Sarah Palin parodies based on tonight’s Vice President Debate! We’re having friends over, and I’ve already purchased 16 Sarah-Palin paper masks (and only 8 Biden ones, as I don’t expect them to be as popular). What’s going to be the great Sarah Palin quote…
Viral Video Roadkill: MS Windows Certified
Sorry, Microsoft Windows Vista. You’ve created roadkill. So horrible we have to stare. I hereby nominate your ProductsofChampions.com into the WillVideoforFood Viral Video Hall of Shame. This “viral video” site — which features an annoying George-Bush style football coach — is wrong for so, so many reasons. I would pay money to hear the agency…
Friday’s Lesson: Fake Puking Offends More Than Fake Blood
It’s a parodox, but it’s one of those things we learn about humankind thanks to the “hot spot” insight tool available on YouTube. I Auditioned a New Family
I’m really getting excited about online-video “serialized storytelling,” but still experimenting with the content and delivery mechanism. By this I mean fewer one-hit wonders like Blackberry Crackberry, and more narratives in 1-3 minute “chunks.” The goal is to keep people in suspense and coming back. Of course it doesn’t happen easily unless you have loyal…
American Girl Dolls are Icons of Evil
Gawker’s August 4 quote about the American Girl Doll union protests provides this post titled: “Every time you cross our picket line a kitten explode.” Funniest blog post title I’ve ever seen. You don’t even have to read the post to appreciate it, although the photo does capture the absurdity of the event. Here’s some…

I just saw this one too. Very impressive animation. He (the creator)said he uses Maya for the animation. I’m going to have to look it up.
You can download a free 30-day trial version of Maya, AquaD. I did. It looked like rocket science to me and the tutorial ate up a huge amount of harddrive space. I decided to retain my amatuer status a while longer.
