That’s the message that is spawning plenty of parody videos. I just made a video spoof of it. But you can’t watch ’em.

  1. UGGGG I KNOW!!! Thanks to the real STAR of YouTube KEVIN NALTS for addressing this issue. I felt so silly emailing Nalts about this but I bet he will get something done!!!

  2. Hey people. I just viewed 2 of nalts videos on YouTube. Yes 2 videos he just posted. No other videos seem to be working. I thought it was odd so I called Nalts house. Guess who answered??? CHEN!!!! (half the duo team of Youtube Chen and Hurley fame). Now I see how he gets so many views!!! LOL just messing around Kevin.

  3. I’ve been having a lot of problems after uploading videos. I uploaded one yesterday and 6 hours later I still had that error message. I then deleted it, uploaded from a different account and it showed up immediately. Then, about 5 minutes later it gave me the error.

    Interesting thing to note is if you edit your video description/title, your video will temporarily work – but likely give you an error again.

  4. yes moneyexperiment – I had the same problem. my video I uploaded actually just worked once then is back to not playing again. But you say since yesterday hmmmm that is crazy!

  7. As a video creator that really appreciates quality, I have to say that LiveVideo is indeed the superior site. However, I don’t really post many vids there because I enjoy YT for its community. I find it appalling that a site that is based on its superior community and not its superior coding is willing to leave its users in the dark as to what is going on all the time. It’s very much like a King that refuses to address his subjects during a time of trouble. I’d hate to see YT get their head cut off, but if it happens, they’ve no one to blame but themselves.

  8. Today has been the most frustrating day, on YouTube, that I have ever experienced. Nothing seems to be working right. There are a lot of pissed off people, and YouTube says NOTHING. I said this on Digg, too, I tried to send them a nasty-gram, earlier, but discovered that they’ve made it even harder to contact them (truly screwed up for a site that big, and with such an active “community”), so I have no clue if my message was even sent, as I didn’t receive any type of confirmation message. The only direct e-mail address I know is, editor@youtube.com, but that doesn’t reach anyone who can actually DO anything about the problems.

    Today was the “as one” gathering, in San Fransisco, and I know that YT staff was supposed to be there. I guess the whole office took off to party, and the vast majority of users, who couldn’t make it to S.F. were left to suffer in the wake. GRRRRR!

  10. This is great. I’m crazy bored, can’t sleep at all, sick, and youtube is down just when I wanted to start enjoying my shitty night home on a Saturday. For some reason I was lucky to see both of the new videos you posted nalts but right after that everything went to holy hell for me.

  14. I Dugg it K-K-K-Kevin (you m-m-m-ight have a lisp b-b–b-ut – Oh never mind) I got an email from Mia at YouTube on Friday after posting that vid about their not responding to emails. It says “Lambe, you’re an absolute asshole and we are considering terminating your account unless you cease these unwarranted attacks on out site” Nah. She says (and I hope you don’t mind my sharing it here Mia) “Sadia showed me your video about us (me!) never responding to your emails and I just want to say I’m sorry for not responding sooner. But I’m glad you two are in touch now, since I’ve got to back to the 1,600 other people waiting to hear from me! 🙂 “

  16. Perhaps they’re still recovering from the YouTube SF Meet Up at which a frankly-disturbing inflatable Nalts made his (its?) presence felt. Kudos to Nutcheese who did you proud. I put sunblock on Renetto’s head and feel…. slightly soiled. Actually, I had a good time… everyone is either taller or shorter than you’d imagine, except for the gurls.

  19. Will Dig! I jokenly emailed Nalts and he answered back! So here I am. I have to believe that there is new software to flag copyright and I bet it has failed them miserably!

  21. I had an interesting thought today. I think it would be very interesting to see what would happen if YouTube started completely from scratch again – with zero videos. What kind of videos would surface? Would Lonelygirl15 still be popular? Would be kinda cool if YouTube’s slate would get completely wiped clean once in awhile… and perhaps they just archive the rest of the stuff. Anyway, just my random thought for the day. 🙂

  22. Are you crapping me, money-e? Do you know how many manhours I’ve got invested in uploading 411 videos to YouTube!!!?? If they wiped their servers, I’d gnaw off a foot rather than ever darken their portals again.

  23. Yes please don’t let YT wipe it clean. But I do agree that some of the YT all stars would not be where they are. The Nalts, Zack Scott’s, Marquidejolie and many others would be the real stars!

  24. youtube broke cause someone turned off the light switch in the office before they left for the party and now they’re all bent and hung over

    I bet someone is scanning each and every upload videos from the party looking for the film of Chad dancing neked on the table with a lamp shade on his head

  27. you may have seen blunty3000’s solution to the problem, but if you havnt- id have a look. basically all you need to do is edit some of the video details, and your ok!

  31. youtube doesnt allow you to open some pages, only videos from a link, its broken again.
