Online-Video Receives Joy of Home-Shopping

Watch out television. The joyous home-shopping experience can be now experienced via the comfort of online video. The New York Times reports that Joyus is satisfying that raging unmet need:

Unlike other e-commerce sites that use video to advertise products, Joyus uses video to sell the products, and cites comScore statistics showing that shoppers who view videos are more likely to make a purchase. Joyus and the brands it showcases share sales revenue.

So forget Hulu and YouTube. Now we can not only watch video and shop online… we can watch infomercials!

Don't touch that dial... I mean keyboard

  1. Wow, that’s the creepiest photo of that infomercial guy I’ve ever seen. I think I’m going to have Slap-Chop nightmares.
