Ostatic reveals “6 essential open source apps for Mac videographers.” Some are handy, like the Theora Simple Encoder. And I’m just playing around with Get Miro. More news on that later.

I’m confused. I often use my iSight camera to import footage into iMovie and upload to YouTube. Oh. This is for people who don’t need to do any editing of their footage. I get it now. This is for vloggers.
