The Oprah episode which featured YouTube was very painful. I felt like I was transported back to the late '90s when broadcast media was still trying to describe what a website was all about.

Avi - I'm quite worried about you. I suggest you see a proctologist immediately so he can take that stick out of your ass.

Re: #5. Google actually never challenged the website, JewTube. They simply asked a completely different company, NetParty, to voluntarily withdraw their trademark application. NetParty, which conceded JewTube Corp. had first use conceded to Google. And, the real JewTube (www.jewtube.com) signed a revenue-sharing agreement with Google. Consequently, this would hardly qualify as the 5th stupidest moment in online video, unless you'd be referring to the countless website (including your site) who got the story completely wrong by failing to do a little research.

I have to think about this a bit more, but I think 8, 9 and 10 where the stupidest. I'm conflicted with the Oprah deal, I saw it as a blow for the net and an unfortunate win for TV.

How about Chris Crocker's infamously stupid follow-up video to his "Leave Brittany Alone" smash? In his follow-up video, he spits on the camera lens and tells FOX News and everybody else who doesn't love and respect him to go to hell. He lost a lot of sympathy on that bite-the-hand grossness.
